MemoryFuel Results Timeline: Day 1 to Day 90 at One Scoop a Day

A realistic schedule built on creatine kinetics, not testimonials: when stores fill, when any memory effect could appear, and how to test yourself before the refund window closes.

Why the timeline is weeks, not hours

Creatine works by raising stores, not by producing a quick peak in the blood. At 5 g a day without loading, muscle creatine climbs steadily and approaches saturation in about four weeks; a 20 g loading week reaches the same point faster.[1][2] Brain creatine rises less and more slowly, by single-digit percentages in studies using much larger doses.[3][4]

What the trials suggest about timing

The positive memory trials ran for one to six weeks, mostly at higher doses than MemoryFuel's: one week at 20 g in older adults, five days at 20 g in vegetarians, and six weeks at 5 g in young vegetarians.[5] A meta-analysis found the benefit concentrated in older adults.[6] A six-week trial in young rested adults at a low dose found nothing.[7] For a 5 g daily scoop, eight to ten weeks is a fair evaluation period.

How to measure your own result

Feelings are unreliable judges of memory. Before the first scoop, read a list of 15 unrelated words for one minute, then write down as many as you can immediately and again 20 minutes later. Repeat with a different list around day 70, at the same time of day and after similar sleep. A gain of three or more words is larger than the usual practice effect; one or two words is noise. The homepage has a recall log that does this arithmetic for you.

What happens when you stop

Creatine stores fall back toward baseline over roughly four to six weeks after stopping. There is no withdrawal and no rebound. Any small water weight also disappears.

Questions readers send about this

Can MemoryFuel work in hours?

Not at one scoop. The study showing effects within hours used about 0.35 g per kilogram in sleep-deprived adults, around five times a scoop for an average adult.

Should I load creatine to speed things up?

The label does not direct loading, and loading at 20 g a day brings more stomach upset. If you want to try it, ask your doctor first, and remember it would mean four scoops a day of the whole formula, which is not advisable because of the magnesium and vitamin D.
